Condition: Excellent condition – first layer will need trimming off all 5 rolls because of wear, clean and well kept after that. 2 rolls are open and without there label, they're the same batch as they match exactly. One of the open rolls weights around 20g less than the others so is nearly full.

Any questions, please feel free to ask.Michaelmas Daisy (1912) comes from a period when John Henry Dearle was leading the creative direction of Morris & Co., even as many of his designs continued to be marketed under the William Morris name. Dearle’s contribution to the firm has often been historically under-credited, as Morris remained the dominant brand identity and many later designs were absorbed into the wider “Morris” catalogue. Dearl began his career as a shop assistant in the Oxford Street showroom in 1878, before being trained through the firm’s workshops in tapestry, textiles and design, effectively rising through the entire Arts & Crafts production system. After William Morris’s death in 1896, he became Art Director, shaping the company’s overall creative direction in the early 20th century.
